AXE FRIENDS
Cameron 4
JOHN CAMERON

We featured him once before, but we just had to do it again.  Maybe that's because he parked his grand piano in our studio.  John Cameron, Executive Producer of The Edmonton SInging Christmas Tree, packed the Jubilee.  Not only is John a talented producer, he's a gifted piano player and amazing singer.  His inspiration to get involved with the Singing Christmas Tree happened when he was a university student.  He was so enamoured with the show, he saw every one of them during the same run.  Plans are already underway for next year.  For John Cameron, it's never too soon to start getting things done.  And AXE is always happy to be on board on the production side.

LIVE EVENT TIPS
TIP:  When it comes to video, the times --- they are a changin'.  But, you need to check first with your production company if you intend to use video at your event.  For example, there is a lot of production being shot in 16 by 9 resolution (cinematic).  But many projection screens and projector set-ups are still better for 4 by 3 standards.  You could produce in 16 by 9, but then you will have to settle for a letterbox look on the screen.  If you're not sure what this means, then call your production company before you start producing video elements.  Our  head of video, Colin Detert, will walk you through the process to ensure you get the best production value out of your live production set-up.

with an incredible guitar set.  CHIP COFFEY, Mike Anderson's (Trixstar)
paranormal best friend put in a great appearance.  AXE unveiled its brand new
production studio and showroom in the expanded digs.  Over 400 invited guests enjoyed free food and beverages.  Carmen and Michelle held down the
bar once again this year in fine form and even finer attire.  Check out the
photos. Proceeds went to the FOOD BANK and the EDMONTON DOWN
SYNDROME SOCIETY .  (PS The names of people in photos have been
withheld to protect the innocent.  But you know who you are.  And this will
help you remember what happened.)

AXE Productions was pulling out all the production stops for this year's

edition of the Edmonton Singing Christmas Tree.  Guest singer Ruben

Studdard (American Idol Winner Season 2 and Grammy nominee) dazzled everyone with his silky smooth R&B vocals.  Executive Producer, John

Cameron, gave us his best as a piano player and singer.  Carrie Doll (CTV)

hosted the event.  The production involved dozens of performers, all of whom

volunteered for the privilege to do the show.  Proceeds were collected for

Santa's Anonymous.

much more.  If you have a project in mind (music or video, including corporate
video, web based programs, documentaries), be one of the first to book some time with us.  We promise to offer early bird rates and perks.  Call
Michael Kryton about your project at 452-4843 or email him at
