A&E TELEVISION PSYCHIC & LEGENDARY CANADIAN BAND MAKE A SURPRISE VISIT

TIP: If you're planning an outdoor event and want to use screens to playback video, think again. Outside conditions are generally not suitable. Wind becomes a factor. Sunlight washes out visibility, even if the screens are harboured under a canopy. LED walls can work, but they are very expensive.

PARANORMAL STATE AND WATSON'S WORLD
OF MAGIC MAKE A SURPRISE VISIT

They had received invites to the "CHRISTMAXE/TRIXMAS PARTY" to be held in the AXE Productions main warehouse and hosted by AXE Productions and Trixstar Productions. They knew they would enjoy music, food and beverages. What they didn't know was that later in the evening, they would be be up close and personal with American Idol, Ruben Studdard, along with appearances by Streetheart, Chip Coffey of A&E's Paranormal State and Watson's World of Magic.
The evening began with the the incredibly talented team of Watson's World of Magic. During the last element of their act they revealed a hidden Ruben, who magically appeared. And the rest was the best Xmas party of the season.
""We keep it top secret every year," said Jon Beckett in an interview with CTV Edmonton who covered the event. "We want to build this into a thing where you got to show up if you want to see who is here. I think we've outdone ourselves a little this year."
Thanks to Mike Anderson (Trixstar Productions), who secured Ruben Streetheart, Coffey and Watson.

Thanks also to everyone who helped out including Hollywood Lights, Superior Show Services, Milltech, Troy Dezwart and Edmonton Events Centre, Beam Global (who launched their Red Stag brand that night); thanks to Keith Persaud and La Persaud Catering for the great food! Also thanks to the Edmonton Food Bank, the Edmonton Down Syndrome Society . And finally to Michele Ponich, who along with Carmen, handled a very demanding job at the bar. Hope to see many of you again next year.
