American Math Challenge is a free math event that allows students across the
United States to compete against each other by solving math problems via the internet. Children work in 1 minute increments to answer computation problems as quickly as possible. They race against others in real time! It's so engaging that kids don't want to stop. Students in 2nd, 4th and 5th grades will receive usernames and passwords so they can start practice beginning on October 8. The actual competition will take place on Oct 16 - 17. Participation is voluntary. Students in kindergarten, grade 1 and grade 3 can participate if parents submit a home registration. The link is provided for your convenience.
