Ms. Wilkin's fourth graders enjoyed a terrific visit with WSBTV anchor, Justin Farmer. Kyleigh Brisendine wrote a persuasive letter to Mr. Farmer to visit Brookwood Elementary and he took her up on the offer. The students learned all about the exciting job of a news anchor! |

 Thank you for great support of our Boosterthon Fun Run! With your help, PTA raised $30,000 to support Brookwood Elementary! This money helps PTA provide author visits, classroom newpapers like Time for Kids, special events for students and staff including all the special fifth grade events, the Reflections contest and breakfast for students, and many other things that support teaching and learning! Our PTA and your support of their budget makes a huge difference at Brookwood! The PTA has also decided to donate $7,000 of this money to our fund for a new gym floor! We are so grateful! Thank you again for your support of the Fun Run and for your support of Brookwood Elementary!

Education City |
 This is an online software program (www.educationcity.com) that targets Georgia learning standards in the areas of Math, Language Arts, and Science. Students work on creative activities that teach them needed academic strands at the same time. The children love this software! Home licenses usually cost around $75 for a year but through Brookwood Elementary you can purchase a home license for $10 for one child plus $5 for each additional child in the same family.
