The March 27th, District IV Area Board meeting will be at South Gwinnett High School, hosted by Dr. Robert McClure, the District IV Board member. Refreshments will be served at 6:30 pm with the meeting at 7:00 pm. Please see the flyer attached.

The much anticipated and loved Boosterthon Fun Run will be here soon!
The Boosterthon Fun Run is the spring fundraiser for Brookwood Elementary School. All students are allowed to participate in the Pep Rally and in the Fun Run where they will run/walk/dance laps around the track to earn money for their school. Be on the look-out for more detailed information to be coming home with your student!
We are looking for volunteers to help during the Pep Rally on Tuesday, March 13 and during the Fun Run on Thursday, March 22. If you are available to help out during either or both of these fun events, please sign up using the forms below.

You can order the 2011-2012 yearbook on the Brookwood Elementary website. Go to the Announcementspage and order your yearbook for $25.
(There will be a $1 transaction surcharge.) The order deadline is March 30th.

Students, parents, and teachers can contribute photos to be considered for the yearbook by uploading photos directly to our website for potential use in our book.  This is an online software program (www.educationcity.com) that targets Georgia learning standards in the areas of Math, Language Arts, and Science. Students work on creative activities that teach them needed academic strands at the same time. The children love this software! Home licenses usually cost around $75 for a year but through Brookwood Elementary you can purchase a home license for $10 for one child plus $5 for each additional child in the same family.
