*Colt Clubs end at 4:45 pm - pick up on the side.
*All Tutoring ends at 5:00 pm - pick up in front.

Run the Reagan - Saturday, February 18th! | |
 Run the Reagan and raise money for BES!
If you plan to Run the Reagan, or have thought it might be a fun family event, then this is the year! If you register on-line under Brookwood Elementary, we will receive $5 for every participant! It's LOTS of fun too! The 1 mile Fun Run is not included in the deal, but you can enter the 5k and be an un-timed participant. Simply go to www.runthereagan.net, click on "register on-line active now" button at the top right. The rest of the instructions are easy to follow. Make sure you enter as a team member for Brookwood not individual participant. And remember to ask a friend to run with you. The race benefits two great organizations: Young Life and Gwinnett Community Clinic.
The more the merrier!

*Parent's Night Out! Valentine Parent's Night Out Fundraiser for Brookwood High School's Relay For Life -
(valentine crafts, games, computer activities, pizza, movie, etc.) National Honor Society students and teachers will be supervising the children for a great cause. (Relay for Life)

 *Mark your calendars: Celebrity basketball game & clinic between the Harlem Legends (former Harlem Globetrotters and other professional athletes) and the Amanda Riley All-Stars! March 10th at 3:00 - Brookwood High school in the Maroon Gym. -
Tickets for the event will be $10.00 ($15.00 at the door). The Legends will also be holding a youth clinic the same day starting at 1:00 - 2:30 for children ages 6-14 for $25.00, which also includes a ticket to the game. AND...our very own Cameron Franklin (Amanda's 3rd grade teacher) is going to play on the Amanda Riley All Star team! Look for more details to follow. Thank you for all you do and have done to support this foundation and bring smiles to children who are fighting cancer! YOU are making a difference!

Order Your Yearbook On-Line! |
You can order the 2011-2012 yearbook on the Brookwood Elementary website. Go to the Announcements page and order your yearbook for $25.
(There will be a $1 transaction surcharge.)
The order deadline is March 30th.

WE NEED YOUR PHOTOS!
Please E-SHARE your photos for the yearbook! Students, parents, and teachers can contribute photos to be considered for the yearbook by uploading photos directly to our website for potential use in our book. You can e-share photos of field trips, classroom activities, and more! Please e-share your photos quickly as we are constantly selecting images to meet deadlines. Provide as much detail as possible, including names and grades for each photo. Start e-sharing today!!!
Here's what to do ...
- Log into sw.balfour.com
- At the bottom in TINY print, click where it says "Public Upload"
- Enter our 6 digit project number: 227410
- Leave the box for PASSWORD blank
- This will allow you to BROWSE/UPLOAD up to 5 candids at a time. PLEASE enter into the caption line the following info: Grade, Teacher, Event.

Education City |
 This is an online software program (www.educationcity.com) that targets Georgia learning standards in the areas of Math, Language Arts, and Science. Students work on creative activities that teach them needed academic strands at the same time. The children love this software! Home licenses usually cost around $75 for a year but through Brookwood Elementary you can purchase a home license for $10 for one child plus $5 for each additional child in the same family.
