Brookwood Elementary Receives the Platinum Award!!

It is with great honor that I share with you the academic achievement award Brookwood has received from the state of Georgia. The Governor's Office of Student Achievement recognizes schools each year based on improvement and achievement on the Criterion-Referenced Competency Test (CRCT). Through Georgia's Single Statewide Accountability System, awards are given to schools based on their performance on state curriculum exams and Adequate Yearly Progress. Schools are awarded on four levels--platinum, gold, silver and bronze--in two categories: greatest gains and highest performance. Brookwood was honored with the PLATINUM status in highest academic performance. This prestigious award was accomplished by the hard work and dedication of our amazing students, staff and community. Please join me in celebrating this wonderful achievement! It truly is a great day to be a Brookwood Colt!!!
