MealpayPlus Changes Name to MyPaymentsPlus | |
As new functionality is added to the MealpayPlus program, it's essential that the name encompasses the various capabilities offered. MealpayPlus will be rebranded to a very similar, yet more comprehensive name, MyPaymentsPlus, over the next several weeks.
Not to worry - The look and feel of the website will remain exactly as it is today and website functionality will not change. You may access your account via www.MyPaymentsPlus.com after December 20th or continue to go to www.MealpayPlus.com as you do today.
Existing users may receive an e-mail from MealpayPlus prior to the name change and/or from MyPaymentsPlus soon after.
The links to MealpayPlus on our school websites will still work and will be updated with the MyPaymentsPlus.com URL soon. |

Important Reminders | |
1. If your child has a transportation request, please send a note to the front office. Be sure to include the destination address your child is going to, your contact information in case we need to call, and your signature. Do not email transportation changes to the office or teachers. (emails can be late or not checked before the student goes home at the end of the day.)
2. Copied from the 2011-2012 Parent Handbook:
Please plan to buy lunch at school or bring lunch from home. Fast food lunches do not follow our nutrition guidelines and are discouraged. Fast food may not be dropped off in the office for students. Please do not bring carbonated drinks to school. |

Order Your Yearbook On-Line! |
You can order the 2011-2012 yearbook on the Brookwood Elementary website. Go to the Announcements page and order your yearbook for $25.
(There will be a $1 transaction surcharge.)
The order deadline is March 30th.

WE NEED YOUR PHOTOS!
Please E-SHARE your photos for the yearbook! Students, parents, and teachers can contribute photos to be considered for the yearbook by uploading photos directly to our website for potential use in our book. You can e-share photos of field trips, classroom activities, and more! Please e-share your photos quickly as we are constantly selecting images to meet deadlines. Provide as much detail as possible, including names and grades for each photo. Start e-sharing today!!!
Here's what to do ...
- Log into sw.balfour.com
- At the bottom in TINY print, click where it says "Public Upload"
- Enter our 6 digit project number: 227410
- Leave the box for PASSWORD blank
- This will allow you to BROWSE/UPLOAD up to 5 candids at a time. PLEASE enter into the caption line the following info: Grade, Teacher, Event.

GCPS is providing Free Math Online Tutorials for 4th and 5th grade students. Click for login information.

Education City |
 This is an online software program (www.educationcity.com) that targets Georgia learning standards in the areas of Math, Language Arts, and Science. Students work on creative activities that teach them needed academic strands at the same time. The children love this software! Home licenses usually cost around $75 for a year but through Brookwood Elementary you can purchase a home license for $10 for one child plus $5 for each additional child in the same family.
