Let's show our support and fill the stands with shoulder to shoulder MAROON and GOLD!  Brookwood High Drama brings a cast of over twenty-five performing arts students to the Brookwood stage. A mean-spirited, miserly old man named Ebenezer Scrooge sits in his counting-house on a frigid Christmas Eve as his clerk, Bob Cratchit, shivers in the anteroom because Scrooge refuses to spend money on heating coals for a fire. Thus comes to life this Christmas classic. Tickets on sale at the door. $7 for adults, $6 for students and senior citizens. December 1 and 3, 7:00 p.m. in the BHS Theatre.

 This is an online software program (www.educationcity.com) that targets Georgia learning standards in the areas of Math, Language Arts, and Science. Students work on creative activities that teach them needed academic strands at the same time. The children love this software! Home licenses usually cost around $75 for a year but through Brookwood Elementary you can purchase a home license for $10 for one child plus $5 for each additional child in the same family.
