REGISTER TODAY FOR THE OUR UPSTATE VISION FORUM ON APRIL 26TH IN GREENWOOD
| |
Be sure and register today for the second Our Upstate Vision Regional Forum of 2012, which will be held on Thursday, April 26th, from 3-5 pm at the Community Theatre in Greenwood. The Forum is free and open to everyone, but we ask that you register in advance.
During the development of the Our Upstate Vision, the number one thing people wanted to ensure about the Upstate of 2030 and beyond is that it remains a "Great Place to Raise a Family." As we look toward the future, what are some of the key areas that the region must continue emphasizing to ensure the Upstate remains a great place to live and raise a family?
The April 26th Forum will include both a keynote address and panel discussion on issues that impact our ability to keep the Upstate a Great Place to Raise a Family including education, recreation and natural resources, cultural programs, community vibrancy, and workforce/job development.
It will also include an assessment of where the region currently stands and what will need to be done over the next 20 years in the areas of infrastructure and specific elements of quality of life to meet the needs of the 1.6 million people projected to live in the region by 2030.

TEN AT THE TOP THANKS FUNDING PARTNERS FOR THEIR CONTINUED SUPPORT
| |

Over the last two years, more than 80 organizations and individuals from across the Upstate have helped support the mission of Ten at the Top to promote collaboration and planning in the Upstate by donating funds or services as either a continuing funding partner (commitment of at least three years), annual funding partner or event sponsor.
Each month we will be highlighting some of these organizations that recognize the value of regional collaboration, planning and partnerships across the 10-county Upstate region as we work together to ensure that the Upstate remains a great place to live, learn, do business and raise a family for generations to come.
This month we want to thank our most recent funding partners:
Continuing Partners:
Regional Benefactor: Greenville Hospital System
You can read the entire list of TATT Funding Partners on our web site.
If your organization recognizes the value of regional collaboration, planning and partnerships and would like to become part of this prestigious group of local champions, please contact Dean Hybl (dhybl@tenatthetop.org) or go to the web site to download our pledge form.
|
| SHARE YOUR UPSTATE NEWS | If your city, county or organization has news you want to share or an event you want to promote with people across the 10-county Upstate Region, send it to us and we will include it in the next Ten at the Top e-newsletter.
