Dear Members, Thank you for being a valued Member of the Greater Burlington YMCA community. We've had a great year at the Y, and have even more new and exciting programs, for the upcoming year. As you may have noticed, Y of the USA has implemented a 'Brand New Day' Revitalization Campaign. This is to provide clarity around the benefits available to you, here at your Y. The key areas of focus are Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility. We are committed to offering you the finest experience each and every time we have the opportunity to be with you. Together we make the Y a sustainable community where healthy lives begin and healthy futures flourish. Thank you for being with us on this journey of a lifetime! Through our work with Pioneering Healthier Communities, we have formed a team called 'Activate VT'. Activate VT has a community action plan to address the need for increasing physical activity and healthy eating. If you would like more information or have interest in assisting us with our initiatives please contact Jan Riordan, at jriordan@gbymca.org Due to increases in utility and service expenses that we have experienced, we will be making very modest adjustments to some of our rates. Below are the monthly rates which will go into effect on November 1, 2010. To avoid these increases, we'll hold the current rates for you if you pay for one year of membership in full prior to October 31, 2010. Of course, we're always here for you at the Y. If these increases present a financial hardship, we will gladly work with you to find a solution. If you'd like to speak with someone regarding our Financial Assistance Program, please contact Larry Edelson, our Membership Director at 862-8993 ext. 141. The Burlington Wellness Center Membership remains an additional $25 (Men's) or $21 (Women's) per month. Thank you again for being a YMCA Member.
