and 24thdistricts and State Representatives in the 42nd, 46th
and 48thdistricts  have been invited.

 

Candidates will be given a one-minute opening statement period before answering questions from audience members that are reviewed by moderators.

 

Attendees will also be able to register to vote or change their voting address at the events. The primary election is March 20.

 

For state legislative maps, go to the Illinois State Board of Elections website,www.elections.il.gov. For county district information, seek help at the DuPage Election Commission at dupageelections.com.

DuPage PADS "Taste of Hope"
Tickets are now available for the sixth annual Taste of
Hope that will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 5:30pm-9:30pm at Abbington
Distinctive Banquets in Glen Ellyn, IL.  
The Taste of Hope will once again thrill taste buds with more than 25 of the area's elite restaurants serving their signature dishes. The event, while full of food and fun will more importantly fund key DuPage PADS programs that provide much-needed housing,career building, and other supportive services to assist individuals and families who are homeless. An open bar and live and silent auctions will round out an evening of delicious dining.

This year's dinner and auction promises to be the event of the season. With medieval characters strolling through the Abbington providing interactive entertainment, you will surely feel as if you have been transported back in time.

 

Back this year by popular demand is the LIVE raffle. One lucky winner will get to choose any item from the LIVE auction selection all for a $35 ticket. 

The Western DuPage Special Recreation Association (WDSRA) is committed to providing quality recreational programs, dedicated and trained staff, specialized equipment, and much needed scholarships. Your support of this event provides the financial support needed to ensure that the cost of programs remains affordable throughout the year.

Danada Area Is Ready for Shopping! 
The construction is buttoned up for the winter.

It's MUCH easier to get to your favorite stores in Danada Squares East & West!

 

Noise walls will be installed over the winter.

 

The North side of the road will be reconstructed in Spring 2012 with construction resuming in late March or Early April based on weather conditions. This phase should go more quickly because the utilities will not be an issue.

 

Landscaping will be done in Fall 2012.
