Technical Learning Center Reviews | | |
"It was great to have the discussion about relational databases and join types (Ketta). These are so critical to the report design process and getting the right data in your report, there could be an entire chapter just on joins."
Vic

"Instructor (Ketta) did a great job on explaining things and answering questions on problems I have come across. Thanks for looking up additional info on the lost Field Explorer issue."

| Just ASC! Quick Tip | |
Excel 2007 | | When you scroll in your Excel spreadsheet, do your column and/or row headers disappear? You can freeze your headers to prevent them from scrolling off the page.
First, select the cell that is immediately below and to the right of the headers that you want to freeze. On the View tab in the Window group, click the Freeze Panes button. To freeze both columns and rows, choose the Freeze Panes option. You can also freeze just the top row or just the first column. Now your headers will stay in place when you scroll.
To unfreeze your headings, from any selection click the Freeze Panes button on the View tab and choose Unfreeze Panes.

End of Support for Windows XP SP2
Effective July 13, 2010 Extended support for Microsoft Windows XP SP2, Windows 2000 Server, and Windows 2000 Professional officially ended on July 13, 2010. Extended support for Windows Vista RTM ended April 13.
End of support means that Microsoft will stop providing incident support and will not release new updates, including security updates. Running an unsupported version of Windows can expose your systems to business and regulatory risks and could represent a security threat.
Systems that are running Windows XP SP2 or previous versions should be updated to Windows XP SP3 or Windows 7.
Windows XP SP3 will exit all support in April 2014. To receive vulnerability fixes, users must upgrade to SP3 by July 2010. Windows XP SP3 can be downloaded from Microsoft.
To determine if your PC meets Windows 7 system requirements, visit the Windows Upgrade Advisor. For more information on how to upgrade to Windows 7, view this tutorial.
There is no Service Pack 3 for the 64-bit version of Windows XP. If you are running the 64-bit version of Windows XP with Service Pack 2, you are on the latest service pack and will continue to be eligible for support and receive updates until April 8, 2014. |
