Announcing the Five Winners of Free USB Flash Drives
Thanks to all who participated in our recent survey regarding your preferences for communications from ENS!

The results showed that we're right on track, with the majority of our readers preferring to see the newsletter twice a month, with topics that focus on upcoming seminars and training classes (technical and desktop applications) as well as technology tips and ENS news.

Windows 7 was the top area of interest, with Office 2010 in second place. Outlook and Word tied for the desktop applications you use most frequently, with Excel running a very close second. You also ranked desktop productivity tips as the most valuable item in our newsletter, so we'll definitely keep them coming!

Five of our survey participants have won a free USB flash drive. Congratulations to the following winners:

Todd Renner, Sirva, Inc.
Cris Williams, CANI HeadStart
Chris Myers, Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana-Michigan
Amy Ross, St. Joe Decatur School
Gayla Baker, STI
Manage and Optimize Your LAN and WAN
Free Seminar - February 18, 2010
If you have a complex network or are maintaining a Wide Area Network between office locations, this is a "must attend" session for you. We will be discussing concepts and tools you can use to inventory your connectivity infrastructure (routers, firewalls, and switches), automate infrastructure change and version control, tools to identify rogue switches and WAPs, bandwidth monitoring tools, network forensics, and prioritizing network traffic -- all to optimize your WAN's performance and throughput. We will show you how you can do these things every day and still be home in time for dinner.

Technical Learning Center (TLC) Reviews
Here is what one of our clients said about the benefits of investing in training.

Technical Learning Center (TLC) logo"Training is a very important priority for us. Training and developing our people is a strategic focus. We're talking about winning in a highly competitive business. Our objective is to drive our competitiveness through this training. Now, it's not going to happen unless every person in the division, including the President, makes a personal investment in leadership, in learning, and in development. We think this is the central concept around building quality of work life. It is the central concept around getting the best people to come to work for you, and it is the central concept around moving to the next level. It can't be overemphasized."
