| Welcome to the Jersey Knights Soccer Club's December Newsletter. The Fall 2009 season was an eventful one. All teams competing during Fall 2009 including the Daggers U12G, Force U13G, Ambush U14G and Wizards u14B, all had successful seasons.
Our high school age teams returned to the Knights Program in October and organizing for upcoming winter and spring competiions. The U18G Gladiators and U18B Fire attended a series of college showcase events that completed the final phase of their college recruiting process. Many Knights players on those squads are in final stages of making their decisions about the colleges they will be attending and playing for next year.

| Little Kickers 2010
Little Kickers is back again for the Winter 2010 season! Sessions begin Saturday, January 23. 2010. All sessions will be held at Judd Elementary School in North Brunswick.
Little Kickers is geared for children between the ages of 4 thru 7 years of age who wish to gain exposure to the game of soccer through the use of fun, age appropriate games. The Training Club
The Training Club is a soccer training program designed for player's age groups U8 thru U12. The "Club" is an 6 week program that will challenge young players to improve their technical skills and gain a stronger understanding of basic tactics. Players will be grouped according to ability to make their experience challenging and enjoyable.
The goal of the Training Club is to provide an advanced training approach in an environment enjoyable and age appropriate for all participants. Technical and tactical instruction will be conducted through the application of small-sided games so that players will experience a training environment that replicates the real game. Our professional coaching staff will emphasize the appropriate technical and tactical speed that is necessary for success in today's game. Gladiators Win MAPS Fall Challenge and MAPS College Showcase!
The U18 Gladiators started the Fall 09 College Showcase Season with a bang! The Gladiators Won the Championship at the MAPS Fall Challenge at the Philadelphia Soccer Club and the MAPS College Showcase at Fort Dix. In addition, the gilrl ahd a successful showing at the Kirkwood College Showcase during Thanksgiving Weekend in Kirkwood , Delaware with a record of 2-1-1.
The Gladiators, with players from high schools all over Central Jersey, will resume training indooors in early January. The team is coached by Mike Knoth and Jeff Maroccia and managed by Eileen Aiossa. |
Ambush U14G Conclude a Successful Season with 2 Tournament Championships!
The U14G Ambush won the Championships at 2 tournaments this season. In September, the Ambush claimed the U14 championship at the South Brunswick Invitational with a record of 4-0. The Ambush scored 12 goals and only surrendered 2 defeating teams from East Brunswick, Princeton, Warrioirs FC amd Franklin.
At the 32nd Arbey Hudson Hamilton Columbus Tournament, the Ambush once again won 4 games and did not surrender a goal winning the Championship. The ambush defeated teams from Princeton, Bordentown amd Jackson on their way to the title. Tha Ambush is coached by Lissette Brandao and managed by Chris Hoagland. |
U13G Force
The newly formed U13G Jersey Knights Force completed their first season in the Blue division of JAGS with 5 wins and 3 losses. They also captured their first tournament championship in the top flight of the Mount Olive Halloween tournament. The Force is trained by Edison High school Women's Coach, Maria Leonow and managed by Glenn Clarke. |
Wizards U14B - Arbey Hudson Champions!
Congratulations to the Jersey Knights Wizards U14B are champions of the 32nd Arbey Hudson Hamilton Invitational Tournament! The Wizards completed the tournament record of 4-0. With hard work, a strong defense, outstanding goalkeeping and a high pressure offense, the Wizards did not allow a goal, outscoring their opponents 13-0! |
