Stop Hunger Now was a great success!

Thank you to all 134 of our church members who volunteered to help combat hunger on Sunday, October 16, in the fellowship hall. Through a fun and engaging assembly line process, Reveille volunteers packaged 11,420 meals in just two hours. We raised $2,855 through congregational giving to pay for the rice, protein, dehydrated vegetables, and vitamins used to create these meals. This year our church's efforts were part of an international effort called World Food Day on which millions of meals were packaged throughout the world for individuals in impoverished countries. Reveille's participation was truly an example of Christians working to make a difference in God's world.

Remembering in Prayer

In our daily prayers many of us remember those who are serving in the Armed Forces, along with their families. We recently received word that Chas Crowder, the son of Charlie and Pam Crowder, is stationed in Afghanistan. If you would like to send Chas a note of encouragement, please use the following address:

                                           LT. Crowder, Charles

                                           TF 1-82, E Company

                                           FOB Salerno

                                           APO, AE 09314

Bonnie Rybinski's grandson, Nick Skaperdas, has received his silver wings as a Navy pilot. He is stationed in San Diego.

If you have family members or friends whom you would like remembered in prayer daily by our prayer ministry group, please contact either Stephen Coleman, ext. 115, or Carol Uzzle, ext. 117, in the church office, 359-6041.
