Duxbury: Railroad Avenue Revitalization
"The Railroad Ave revitalization project is inspired by a desire to
re-invent and re-purpose an iconic local building to create an asset for
the community and incorporate green building solutions. This
site is designed to create a conversation about ideas an options for the
former Goodrich Lumber property on Railroad Avenue in Duxbury, Mass. A
growing number of residents have suggested that it would be a perfect
place for an indoor sports complex. There are lots of positives
associated with this idea. Duxbury has a reputation for
excellence in sports. An indoor facility close to the schools could
enhance this reputation and provide the opportunity to practice
throughout the year. The current building is structurally sound and could be re-purposed for this facility." Learn more about the Railroad Ave. Revitalization and become a fan on Facebook. |
