Date set for Oyster Harbors Marine's unveiling of new solar-powered facility 
Silvia & Silvia and Nexamp, a leading clean energy solutions company, recently announced a date for the unveiling of the largest solar-powered system on the Cape at Oyster Harbors Marine in Osterville, Mass.
The photovoltaic (solar panels) project will generate enough energy to power approximately 7.5 households a year.

Housing starts up nationwide in May
 The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) reports housing starts gained 17.2% nationwide in May, up from April's record lows. Locally in the Northeast, starts were up 2%.
According to David Crowe, chief economist for NAHB, the report shows "three consecutive months of gains in single-family housing starts and
two consecutive months of gains in single-family permits." Crowe said that is "a very
welcome sign that the market may be nearing a turning point" but added that the recent increase may be in response to the looming November deadline for first-time buyer tax credit.
Single-family housing starts also gained and broke the 400,000 mark for the first time since November 2008.
