Proud to announce a grant from Quality of Life Giving Circle to do a Youth Mapping Project in Greenmount/Waverly. It's part of our first neighborhood-scale mapping project.

BGM Director Felsten has served as consultant to Washington DC's Department of the Environment as they define and launch the DC Green Map.

Baltimore Green Map Instigator/Director Janet Felsten will be one of 17 people answering that question at Ignite Baltimore #4.  Come to see how "Think global; Map local. Green MapMaking in Baltimore" plays in that format!   Tickets are no longer available, but you can listen to the recorded presentations after the event.
 
10,000 TU Student Green Maps Printed!
To orient new and returning students to the many facets of Towson University's Go Green! agenda, the August 30 issue of Towson's Towerlight contained   The map is one outcome of last Spring's Green Map Studio collaboration with Graphic Design Professor Jessica Ring.

Promoting Green Mapmaking as an effective tool for raising awareness about sustainability initiatives, we are in discussion with several other campuses in the Baltimore Collegetown Network.
