What's the Weather Like in Saratoga Springs for the Annual Convention?
Weather in upstate New York can be quite variable, no matter what the season. In late August, Saratoga Springs is typically mild, with temperatures between the mid-50s at night and upper 70s during the day. The sun rises around 6:15am, and sets around 7:30pm.
Our best advice is to plan for sun, rain, and chilly temperatures at night. Remember, Sunday's dinner and reception will be outside if it is nice out!

ICBA Urges Withdrawal of NFIP Escrow Burden
|
ICBA and a coalition of other financial trade groups urged Senate lawmakers to remove new escrow requirements from draft legislation to extend the National Flood Insurance Program authorization for five years. Section 111 of the discussion draft would expand NFIP escrow requirements to all lenders, regardless of whether they escrow for taxes and insurance.
In a letter to members of the Senate Banking Committee, the coalition wrote that while it supports the program's extension, the escrow requirement threatens to impose significant costs on community-based institutions and to drive them out of the mortgage business.
