Support Communities First Act
WhitweHouse

IBANYS continues to urge lawmakers to support key administration like H.R. 1697, which includes a number of tax and regulatory relief provisions to support community banks and their customer base.

This week, IBANYS submitted a letter to Representative Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY) requesting her support of the Communities First Act (H.R. 1697).  Earlier this week, the ICBA also reported that Jim McKillop, president and CEO of the Independent Banker's Bank of Florida advocated H.R. 1697 while testifying for ICBA before the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Financial Institutions.

We urge anyone in New York's 4th Congressional district to contact Rep. McCarthy and request her co-sponsorship of H.R. 1697.  You may reach her office by phone at (202) 225-5516.

You may view the full text of the Communities First Act (H.R. 1697) by clicking here.

SponsorsshipBlimp

Many fantastic sponsorship opportunities are available for Navigating Change: The Champions of Main Street. Your company logo could be visible to hundreds of attendees, exhibitors, and passersby when you sponsor an entertaining speaker, delicious meal, fun giveaway, and so much more.

Better than advertising, a sponsorship means that your logo will not only be seen, but that your company will be appreciated for helping to provide a service or event that everyone will enjoy during the Annual Convention.

For a full list of sponsorship opportunities, click here or contact IBANYS Director of Communications, Development & Marketing Crista Leigh Collins or Director of Administration & Membership Vicki Miller at (518) 436-4646.
