This will be prepared in the Nashville office following your paid registration.  World Convention, Nashville must have your completed visa questionnaire to prepare your letter.

Christian Standard Tour

World Convention board member, Mark Taylor (editor and publisher of Christian Standard) and Larry Travis (vice president for leadership development, Cincinnati Christian University) have teamed up with Brazilian Rafa Soares to offer an eleven day tour surrounding the Global Gathering.

Global Women Connecting

BLESSED AND A BLESSING

   When I was fifteen I had to fill out some form for school that asked me to describe myself in three words.

    I do not remember what two of the words were, but I remember the first.

   "Blessed."

    At fifteen I was blessed with good health, with warm clothes, with a house warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I was blessed with parents that loved me, a wonderful school, and an abundance of friends.

   All my life I have been blessed. But no more so than in 2011. My work with World Convention has been the greatest blessing of my life. What an abundance of blessing to see how God is working in his church and his world-in Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Indonesia, Poland, Great Britain, Italy, Brazil, and the United States. What a blessing to see how he is healing the divisions within the Stone-Campbell movement and in his church worldwide. What a blessing to see young, exuberant, and dedicated Christians throughout the globe.

         What do I expect in 2012?

   Even more blessing. I expect an outpouring of blessing at our Gathering in Goiania. The blessings of worship, learning, fellowship, and service together.

   If all this talk of blessing sounds selfish, I will remind you of two things. One, blessing is always solely by the grace of God. I have never deserved a single blessing I have received. It is a gracious God who gives daily bread. We must always rely on grace alone.

   Secondly, we are blessed to be a blessing. So as you reflect on the year past and the year ahead, I encourage you to open your eyes to the way God has blessed you. Then continue to generously bless those around you. Bless the near neighbor and the far neighbor.

   And I encourage you to continue to be blessed by the ministry of World Convention and to continue to bless others through this work of God.
