 What we do
As we fast approach Christmas and nearly two years since we started 7House, I thought it an idea to bring you up to speed as to how we have evolved as a business, over this timeframe. 
 
We are now clearly positioned as business development boutique, whose core offerings now focus around the following two areas:
 
  • Organic growth
  • Acquisition  
We have re-positioned our team, methodologies, services and more latterly our website to reflect this.
 
We feel that this is where the heart of all our success has come from; our clients easily identify with us in this space; and most importantly, it is the area where our expertise is adding most value to our clients on a regular basis.
 
We will build and strengthen these offerings throughout 2010, adding capacity and skill-sets to our team to enable us to grow.

Sales strategy and growth
 
7House provides strategic and service delivery solutions to its clients.   This can often take a variety of different forms to include the following:
 
  • Review and report of business development strategy;   people and process
  • Creation of clear outcome focused targets at team and  individual level
  • Creation of job specifications that focus on business development
  • Creation of incentives schemes relevant to the specific market
  • Execution of new routes to market

Bid Management
 

7House provides a full strategic and project management approach for its clients.  Given the nature of the bidding process, a significant amount of our work is around gaining access for our private sector clients in to the Public Sector.  This range of activity includes:
 
  • Scoping the service and/ or products seeking to be sold in to the market i.e. is it viable?/ is there another more profitable route?
  • Researching the public sector frameworks to verify which route is the most appropriate
  • Defining associated bid management costs
  • Assessing the route to bidding i.e. direct; partnering; consortia
  • Matching the most suited  internal team to the bid
  • When necessary, leading and project managing the bid team
  • Positioning the messages of the brand and service delivery to resonate with those evaluating the bids
  • Sense checking and quality assuring bids on a 'one off' or retained basis
 
We have over 30 years experience of bidding in to the public sector dealing with projects from £1m to £500m.
 

Business Development Training

7House, with its partners, has developed a sophisticated data-mining tool that can support its team in the preparation of highly accurate and relevant research reports into the public sector market for goods and services.
The technology supports the team by reviewing the opportunities for public sector work across the EU each year. There are over 10,000 individual opportunities for work each and every MONTH!
Our team will work with you to understand your products and services and prepare a bespoke report for you which can detail all the opportunities relevant to your business. This would include:        
 
  • Number of opportunities over the last five years by product/service
  • Current opportunities by product/service
  • Value of tenders issued and awarded
  • Your competitors and who won the contract
  • Contact details of customers, and if needed competitors
  • All web sites of relevant competitors and a highlight review of each

Acquisition
 
We work directly with clients and a number of  investment houses who require our support to inform them on the accuracy of a sales team, its potential capability and client base prior to purchase as part of its pre-deal due diligence process.  Our team has a in-depth of experience covering  a number of sectors that include: Healthcare; Public Sector; Manufacturing; Professional Services and Retail. 
       
7House provides pre-deal due diligence reports for those clients and or investors wishing to research a market or acquire a business in the following ways:
 
  • Review of the current business development strategy
  • Review of capability and skill set of sales teams and individuals at all levels
  • Review of the rigour and quality of structures in place from supporting IT to the level and intensity of effective work undertaken in the areas of business development and account management
  • Review of forecasted revenues and KPI's v's actual performance
  • Provide solutions and time frames to meet forecasted budgets
  • To deliver on solutions post deal on the 100 days plans following the above assessments.
