User interface design & customer research for the Web, the desktop and more

Switching from Windows to Macintosh and installing new software

Firefox installation screen, Mac OS XI switched to Macintosh in 2009, after a long time with Windows. Neither operating system is "right", they're just different. The new computer itself is beautiful, much of the UI works very well, but there's a lot to get used to.

One of my first tasks was to install Firefox. This is the installation screen, standard on the Mac, but I had no idea what to do. Here are some other installation screens.

Oh, and here's what I was supposed to do.

Let's talk about design

We've been doing UI design for Web apps since the first online order forms. We've also designed great desktop apps, as well as telephones and microphones.

Let's talk about design or customer research for your product. Call Hal Shubin at 617 489 6595, or send a message now.
