China, India, Dubai, Modena, and the  Holt Fellowship

China_2010
In October 2010, Professor Alfred Lewis led the third contingent of Hamline University MBA students to China for Introduction to Business in China.   The photo above shows the group in front of the Beijing University Library.  Go to the China 2010 page for more information on the trip plus a link to more photos of the group in China.

When this e-mail was sent, a group of Hamline MBA students was likely airborne on their way to India to study Globalization and Growth in Delhi and Gurgaon.  The group, led by Professor David Berg, will spend the week immersed in the economy and culture of India.

Feeling the bug to travel?  MBA students will study finance in Dubai from March 25-April 3, 2011 and others will venture to Modena, Italy May 13-23, 2011 to focus on International Business and the European Union.

Concerned about funding an international experience? The Holt Endowed Fellowship is accepting applications.  The Holt Endowed Fellowship was established by Ann E. Holt in memory of her parents, Darrel and Elizabeth Holt, both graduates of Hamline University.  Its mission is to provide meaningful learning experiences for those who aspire to engage and lead organizations and communities with global awareness.  This fellowship is open to HSB graduate and undergraduate students as well as faculty.  The deadline for applicants traveling during the winter, spring, or summer 2011 is November 30, 2010.
