Journal of Public Affairs Education Coming to Hamline

This week the School of Business NASPAA Logosigned an agreement with the National Association of Schools for Public Affairs and Administration (NASPAA) to serve as the host institution for The Journal of Public Affairs Education (JPAE).  JPAE  is a quarterly journal that "is the leading scholarly light for promoting change in teaching, learning, and quality in public affairs education. JPAE is a source of expertise towards professors, administrators, students and practitioners concerned with the preparation of the next generation of professionals in public service."  Dr. David Schultz will serve as editor in chief and Dr. Kris Norman-Major will be the managing editor. This is a prestigious honor for the School of Business and its Department of Public Administration.  Students in the Master of Public Administration and Doctorate in Public Administration programs will benefit from this relationship.  For more information about the journal, go to the NASPAA website

JPAE will join two other journals at the HSB.  Dr. Alfred Lewis, professor in the School of Business, is editor of the Business Strategy Series.  Dr. Jack Reardon, Economics professor in the School of Business, is the Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Pluralism and Economics Education
It's Mid-Summer.  Are You Registered for Fall?

The fall term starts in about six weeks.  Are you registered?  Some courses are full and some courses are in danger of closing.  Please register as soon as you are able.  Early registration improves communication, helps the bookstore order correct books, and helps HSB schedule future courses and instructors. Remember, cohort students, you need to register too so we can place students interested in joining your cohort.  Registration is open on Piperline.
