Keil Comments on Pew Research
Hamline University Economist Jenny Keil was on a Fox9 News on June 30 sharing her thoughts on the Pew Research study that focused on the recession and consumer confidence. The research shows that many of us are spending less and having problems in our professional lives which leads to less consumer spending and the cycle of the recession continues. HUMBAA July Elections and Board Meeting
The Hamline University MBA Association (HUMBAA) elections will be in July. Positions are for 6 months and open to all current MBA students.
You must be nominated for each position. Online nominations and voting only. Nominations will open on the HUMBAA website from July 1-13. Voting opens July 14 and closes July 26 at 4:30p.m.
The new board will be announced at the next HUMBAA meeting. Those running for a position should plan to attend.

David Schultz Published . . . Again!
HSB Professor David Schultz has published his third book in less than a year. American Public Service: Constitutional and Ethical Foundations was published on July 1 by Jones & Bartlett. Last winter Dr. Schultz published Constitutional Law in Contemporary America and Evicted!
Much of this research and writing was completed while Dr. Schultz was on sabbatical in fall 2009. Currently he is teaching Housing and Economic Development Policy in the Master in Public Administration program and will teach Alternative Service Delivery in the fall. |

We announced last month that applications for the Holt Endowed Fellowship will be accepted until the August 15 deadline. Applications are being reviewed as they are submitted. If you plan to study with the MBA in India or China, go abroad with one of the many undergraduate programs, or have independent study ideas, consider applying for the Holt Endowed Fellowship. |
