Vietnam International Seminar Deadline Extended
Deadline moved to January 27
Professor Dave Berg is currently in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam meeting with business and academic leaders to organize the upcoming international seminar to Vietnam. His report of the weather (80 degrees), the economic growth (amazing), history and architecture (colonial, European, post-colonial), and landmarks ( Notre Dame Cathedral, Ben Thanh Market) was sent to all graduate students. He extended the deadline for applications to Wednesday, January 27. An application can be downloaded here (PDF). The last line of Dave's report says it all - "Vietnam is a fascinating blend of east and west, old and new, former isolation and current globalization--and I haven't even gotten to Hanoi yet!"
