Vietnam: The Business of Globalization from South to North
Invites MNM and MPA Students to Apply
Space is still available for MBA students to apply for the MBA international experience to Vietnam. The course will earn credits as an MBA elective toward the International Business Management concentration. The School of Business is now extending an invitation to students in the Master in Public Administration and Master in Nonprofit Management programs to apply to the Vietnam international experience course. Credits earned would go toward elective credits in their program.
The trip is March 12-21. Students will travel to Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi, Vietnam for a chance to see globalization in action as a once developing country transitions into a powerful economic factor in the region and world. The flyer has all the information.  | |
Welcome to Alfred Lewis
Please join the School of Business in welcoming Dr. Alfred Lewis to campus. Dr. Lewis joins the HSB as the Visiting Professor of Strategic Management. He comes to us from Alliant International University in California. Prior to joining Alliant, he taught at Binghamton University, State University of New York (SUNY), and has been a Visiting Professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science and Glasgow University, Scotland. He is co-author of Strategic Management: A Comprehensive Approach and has published widely on strategic management in the private sector and in nonprofit organizations.
Dr. Lewis holds a DBA (Strategy/Finance) from United States International University, an Executive Juris Doctor (EJD) from Concord University School of Law, an MBA (emphasis in Finance and Strategic Planning) from United States International University, and a B.S. in business administration from International University, London. He is also an accomplished musician who plays the pipe organ and holds certificates in music and German. Dr. Lewis is teaching in MBA Module 4. |

41 HSB Undergraduate Students Earn a Spot on the Dean's List

Hamline Hopes to Provide Relief to Haiti
Hamline University is organizing to help the people suffering from the earthquake in Haiti. Health kits are the first phase of disaster relief. Please check the link below for new items to donate for these kits. Items should be brought to the Student Center or to the Health and Counseling Center in Manor Basement.
