April 9-19: Graduate students will visit Modena, Italy to hear from local business and university leaders regarding International Human Resource Management.  Students will learn about international human resources within the context of the European Union.  This is the second time the School of Business will visit Modena.  All the details can be found on the promotional flyer, application form, and syllabus.
Graduate Student Career Services - Take Control of Your Career

The School of Business has announced the graduate student career services workshop schedule for spring.  These workshops are open to any HSB graduate student. Workshops are focused on career advancement and improving job search skills.

Individual career coaching sessions are available at both locations with LaBarre Spence (St. Paul) and Clare Foley (Minneapolis).  Appointments can be made on selected Monday and Tuesday evenings throughout the term.

Pre-registration is required for workshops.  Register or schedule individual coaching sessions online. For individual coaching you will need to select the specific staff member (Clare or LaBarre) to schedule the appointment.

Not convinced career counseling can help you?  Read this report from a student who met with Clare last term -

Working with Clare Foley was a great experience. Her enthusiasm throughout the process and her commitment to ensuring my success were immeasurable. Leveraging Clare's expertise resulted in my ability to create a professional profile that aligned with my career objectives and goals. From resume and cover letter writing to reviewing potential employment opportunities to practice interviews and negotiations, Clare remained dedicated to assisting me through the entire process. After spending months applying for employment with limited success I was astounded when within in a couple of months of working with Clare I received multiple interviews and two job offers! Spending time with Clare was one of the best decisions I made.
