CHATHAM PUBLIC LIBRARY ADDS HISTORIC SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHS TO THE
HUDSON RIVER HERITAGE FOUNDATION DIGITIZATION PROJECT
|
|
The Chatham Public Library is excited to partner with the Hudson River Heritage Foundation to provide online access to historical materials from The Chatham Public Library's historical collection.
Using the Hudson River Heritage Foundation's digitization technology the Chatham Library is adding photographs to their website. To date we have added 20 class photographs. HRHF provides access to historical materials from across the Hudson River Valley
Rich Kraham of the Chatham Press volunteered to do the scanning, and Gail Blass Wolczanski of the Chatham Historical Society catalogued and provided background information on each picture. The scans and cataloguing were collated and uploaded by librarian, Luisa Sabin-Kildiss.
If you have any school photographs from before 1945 that you would like to donate to the library for digitization, or would like to volunteer please contact us at 392-3666
