National Alpaca Farm Days

Walnut Knoll Farm, LLC will host the third annual National Alpaca Farm Days event on the last weekend of September. Since The Alpaca Bean Roasting Company is located on this beautiful farm, we will also be conducting tours of our roasting operation each day. We are excited about being a part of this event, and being a part of the life of Walnut Knoll Farm.

To subscribe or not to subscribe...that is the question!
Why would anyone want to subscribe to a coffee delivery schedule? When it comes to The Alpaca Bean Coffee Company, there are many reasons. First, unlike most subscriptions and subscription policies...we are easy!!!
If you read the fine print surrounding most internet services, you will see that you have to CALL to break the subscription cycle. Why do they do that? You join on the internet, why can't you un-join the same way? Well, they want a shot at convincing you to hang around - and hey, since you are hanging, why not add???? With The Alpaca Bean Coffee Subscription, we will use your NAME as our verification that you are ready for a break, and we will stop delivery AND (heaven forbid), we will not continue to charge you for the right to become anguished!
But, I am getting ahead of myself...made me feel better, venting and all; however, you should hear the whys and wherefors of our subscription program! That way you will see that it is highly unlikely that you will every want to unsubscribe anyway!
What we offer:
- Six months free shipping on any amount ordered
- Flexible ordering policies. We will work out the details with you in advance of your order...then we will be open to changing any and all aspects of the orders as YOU determine the level of coffee consumption you wish to have over a period of time.
- If your order schedule falls on a month where your coffee is offered at a special price, you will receive that pricing level (if it is lower than our agreed upon unit pricing).
- From time to time, we will provide our subscribers samples of other coffee blends at no costs.
What we receive:

A set date to supply your coffee so that we can always assure fresh, just roasted coffee for your table.

A stable ordering base so that we can work on developing a real understanding of your preferences.
How to subscribe:
To subscribe to our service, you need to contact us at: bestcoffee@thealpacabean.biz. We will be back in contact with you to set up your preferences and to arrange for your shipments to begin. It is that simple. We hope to soon have this option available on The Alpaca Bean Store's internet site, but do not want you to miss out on the great taste treat of our coffees on the short term....

On A Personal Note......
With Age Comes Wisdom
You know I have heard that most of my life...really did not buy into it too much, liked the sayings like, "If it ain't broke, break it so you can build it better!" (I know there is another version...but I always liked this one!) Or, "If you do not know where you are going - you might end up somewhere else!" Then as the years passed, I realized that the folks that stated the sayings I preferred...well, they were old!
Then I realized something else that was more profound for me...well, I am getting old as well. Does that mean that I am getting wiser...more knowledgeable...a natural bridge to everything? Can I answer the age old question, "Why is there air?" or "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around, is there noise?"
I can tell you I cannot...nor do I wish to answer them, for that matter. I do know that life has taught me to enjoy the simple facts...to grab hold of, and never let go of, the truly precious moments life offers. I also have learned to try my best to enhance my family's and my friends' lives whenever possible...that, in part, is why The Alpaca Bean Coffee Company came into being.
Most of my family enjoy an excellent cup/mug of fine coffee, and most of my friends do as well. The key is in the word "excellent". Judy, nor I, wanted to be a part of anything that was not, or could not become, excellent. That is the motto of our farm, that is the motto of our coffee operation, and that is what drives us in our everyday lives. Now, I am not talking perfect here...if we ever get perfect then there would be nowhere to go...yep, we would have arrived somewhere else!
