Happy June. Can you believe summer is almost here already?
As you may have noticed, I rarely talk about weight loss, weight gain
or anything associated with the topic.
I am so much more passionate about teaching you about living
a focused, energized life and with that comes the effortless weight
loss so many of us seek!
However, because so many people have been coming to me
lately asking about some quick tips to lose the extra pounds this
Spring I thought I'd pass my secrets on to you too!
Here you go...try them for 2 weeks and you WILL notice a difference.
QUICK & EASY WEIGHT LOSS TIPS
TIP #1: SKIP THE COFFEE AND DIET SODAS & DIET ICED TEAS
Caffeine does not help you lose weight. In fact in can cause you to gain weight. And if you drink diet anything you're just asking for the pounds to pile on! Artificial stuff gets lodged in our cells (and in women it's our hips!) and then our cells add water to dilute the poison giving us an oh-so-bloated look and feel. Instead, drink flavored seltzer and get more sleep if you're tired.
TIP #2: GET OUT OF THE OFFICE MID-DAY- GO FOR A WALK, PLAY GOLF, GET MOVING!
If you sit around MORE then you move during the day, expect to gain weight. I don't care what kind of new diet you put yourself on. More calories consumed versus burned= weight gain.
So get out from behind your desk and just do something. Anything.
TIP #3: EAT AN APPLE & HANDFUL OF UNSALTED NUTS BETWEEN LUNCH AND DINNER
Most people I know struggle with overeating dinner. They come home from a long day hungry and cranky. They have low blood sugar at around 5pm which causes them to eat uncontrollably at night. Eat an apple around 3pm-4pm and you WILL notice a difference at dinnertime. Guaranteed.
