Last month we talked about getting into action.
This month, I'd like to support you in creating
systems that KEEP YOU IN ACTION.
When a client finishes working with me I always ask
them
what systems they are planning to put in
place to KEEP THEM IN ACTION so they
don't slip back into old habits. Very important last
step in the coaching process.
Here's two tips I give them to keep them in action.
TIP #1: How to create a system to get you back into action and keep you there!
- PICK ONE area of your life that is going well right now.
Example: You're on a health kick and eating foods that make you feel good and give your energy.
- ASK YOURSELF: What is ONE thing I'm doing right now that keeps me motivated in this one area?
Example: You eat better because you actually went shopping over the weekend and had good foods to grab on-the-go all week.
- IDENTIFY the system that is working and why and then PICK ONE area of your life where you are not as motivated and try to create a system for it using the examples above.
TIP #2: When you have systems working for you, it frees up your time and energy to focus on what really matters in your life.
For me it's about spending quality time with my family and having the energy to do fun stuff when I'm not working!
