Greetings,
This year marks not only the 50th Anniversary of the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce, but the 50th Anniversary of Windjammer Days as well. It seems that just about everyone on the peninsula is busy getting ready to welcome visitors from across the country and beyond who are eager to see the twelve schooners and the pirate ship that will soon grace our harbor.
If you will be with us for the duration of Windjammer Days, you might want to grab your three wood and head over to the Boothbay Country Club, which will be hosting a golf scramble on Monday, June 25th. The Chamber staff has also compiled a list of some of the most frequently asked questions that people have been asking about Windjammer Days. A complete schedule of events is listed on the Chamber website, www.boothbayharbor.com, or you can stop in to the office and pick up a copy of the Windjammer Days supplement that was published recently in the Boothbay Register. Whether online or in print, these two resources have all of the information that you might need to plan a visit to the festival.
Even if you aren't able to make it to see the ships this year, there are many other events and activities happening throughout the summer. We hope to see you soon!
Warm wishes,
Catherine Wygant
Executive Director
