Chamber Marketing Postcards!

Chamber Postcard

Great new marketing postcards available at the Chamber Office! We have put together a piece of promotional material that can be used by members who ship their products or information to customers and clients. A postcard included with each item shipped will let customers - particularly out of region folks - see how great the Boothbay peninsula is!   Ditto a postcard tucked in along with an inquiry response - a small gesture that can have big rewards in connecting our region with potential visitors and customers.

Members can pick up an introductory stack of twenty (20) postcards to use at their discretion.  These are full size cards (5.5x8.5 inches) so the images are large and colorful, great eye catcher!  You can even sell them should you choose to.  This is a is a pilot program, so drop by the Chamber office and pick them up while they are available!

The Postcard Program is an example of the Chamber's continuing efforts to work with every Chamber member to support and promote the Boothbay Harbor Region...we welcome your participation and your comments!

Welcome New Members!

Boothbay Region Fish & Game Association, Boothbay

The BRF&GA was founded on April 14, 1913, by a group of local outdoorsmen interested in "stocking and protecting the fish in our ponds and the protection of our song and insect-eating birds" as well as concern about unrestricted trapping of partridges. "The Association is for the enforcement of laws governing fish and game, and to promote in general the natural advantages of our woods and ponds."

The club has offered fly fishing fishing lessons as well as many family activities scheduled in the spring summer and fall. Watch the chamber news letter, schedule of events, and our web site for the many activities coming along.

The club meets the third Wednesday of each month at its clubhouse located off Dover Road. There will be many interesting guest speakers as well as some great food offered before each meeting. Stop by a meeting just to check us out.

Applications can be downloaded off the web site www.boothbayregionfishandgame.com or picked up at Oak Street Provisions at 43 Oak Street in Boothbay Harbor.
