Each Saturday through April 3 our Skillin's Cumberland location is hosting the Cumberland Farmers Market from 10 AM to 2 PM in the bright warm cozy confines of our Cumberland store. Come see and meet some nice, nice people and check out their great products! While you are there feast your eyes on our flowering plants and soak in the warmth and scents of our greenhouse! This Sunday, March 28 at 3:30 PM we are especially pleased to host a free beekeeping workshop "How and Why to Keep Bees in Top Bar Hives" an introductory workshop to demonstrate this natural, green method of keeping our important pollinators. A top bar hive lets bees make their own wax - learn why this matters! This workshop is hosted by Skillin's Greenhouse in conjunction with the Skillin's Cumberland Open House and Gold Star Honeybees at no charge and will be offered on Sunday March 28th -from 3:30PM to 5pm- at Skillin's Greenhouse, 201 Gray Road, Cumberland.
