As we head into the weekend, I just wanted to send you a quick email to update you on a few pieces of Skillin's news.
We have decided to schedule a Fresh Floral Arranging Class at Skillin's Cumberland on Saturday, February 6 @ 10 AM! The Fresh Floral classes are among our most popular and we welcome any of our email subscribers to sign up for the class. There is a $15 fee as you will be making your own arrangement and taking it home to enjoy. Let us show you how to create a bright, cheery floral arrangement for your home!

Stay tuned as we are putting the finishing touches on a very aggressive series of classes and events for March and April (and May and June!). Our Spring series is our most popular series and we have many of our old favorite classes returning. We are also contemplating adding NEW classes for such topics as a FOUR part Floral Arranging class, growing vegetables and herbs in containers, vines, grasses and some other possibilities. Feel free to give us any input on these topics and any others at skillins@maine.rr.com!

The days may be cold outside BUT they are sunny and bright inside our greenhouses. Dozens of customers have braved the cold today to pick up some fantastic bulb plants (bright and fragrant!) or some fresh, fresh cut flowers. Our patio furniture has just arrived as well! Stop by for a steaming cup of coffee and take in our scenery!
