Birthing A New Reality     

This is an especially good time to ask yourself what are you birthing in your life. Is it a new passion? A new project? Renewed spiritual practice? Without newness in our lives, we grow stale and atrophy. But how can we continue to experience the joy of new birth while we are caught up in the busy, demanding world we live in?

Here are eight ways to help you successfully give birth to a new and expanded reality:

1. Leave the old to make space for the new. It's not always easy to discard old worn-out beliefs, but it is necessary to clean them out to make room for the new. Eliminate ideas that have overloaded you and weighed you down. Commit to changing your thinking and not doing things the same old way, because if you do, you'll get the same old results. Try some new and positive ways of thinking and see what results you get.
2. Ask yourself what's stopping you. Are limiting beliefs getting in your way? Do you have any beliefs in false, negative labels that people have laid on you and have seeped into your subconscious mind? If you do, catch yourself when thinking or saying anything negative such as: "I can't," "It's too hard," "I'm not smart enough." Make a decision to eliminate negative thinking and speaking by changing these statements into positive ones. Just don't place limits on yourself. Remember God had no limits, and neither do you.
3. Let go of control. Stop trying to will things to be a certain way. Instead, allow Divine Guidance to show you the way. Be sure to remain open and receptive to the flow. When you are birthing something new and everything falls into place easily and effortlessly, you are in the midst of Divine Guidance. Don't be afraid to step out and try something new. And please don't stop the flow with any fear, doubt or worry. Allow God to do its wonderful work by means of you; and in this way, you become an instrument of the Divine.
4. Become a manifester of consciousness. When we become manifesters of greater consciousness, we rise to the higher levels of action and experience Infinite Bliss. Here is where we shed the brittle shell of the ego and rejoice in complete immersion with God. At this point, we seek God rather than material manifestations. Better yet, all is added unto us at this level of consciousness because what we seek is God, which is the Source of our good.
5. Keep the faith. We don't have to have all the answers when charting a new course. Just have faith that God is working through us all the time. Spirit knows even when we do not know. With this understanding in our heart, we realize that our greatest challenge is our greatest gift when we have the courage to trust God.
6. Rejoice at your new beginning. A new course is not something to dread or an enemy to battle, rather, it's an opportunity to be more of ourselves and something greater than we ever thought possible.
7. Do something new. Unearth your creativity, take a class, volunteer at a nursing home or animal shelter or try a new hobby. Lovingly give your heart and soul to a cause and raise the vibration in our world. This doesn't have to be something of heroic measure. Sometimes the smallest steps make the biggest difference in someone else's life or on the Earth.
8. Express your Divine potential. Just like the robin's egg has the full potential of the bird in it, you have the full potential of God within you. Say, "I have all the potential of God within me right now." That Divine potential goes far beyond what the human form can do. So set the intention for what you want to birth, and let God lead the way.  

"It is time for us as individuals and as a human race to rise up and accept the grace of God in all its glory. It's up to us to be the salvation of our own lives and of the planet and finally revolutionize the way that we think. . . Nature will sustain and support that which is growing and contributing to the whole of life. A life that is full, rich and vibrant carried out in a spirit of service, love and gratitude is certainly worth living, not in some far-off distant time or in some other dimension, but right here and now starting today." ¹
