"They have all participated four years or more, with one of the girls being a participant since the program's inception."

Journey Into Womanhood is a rites of passage program for girls ages 9-17 that focuses on their healthy transition from girl to young woman. It is facilitated by experienced leaders and volunteers who help participants cultivate their self-awareness, develop leadership skills and put them on the path to positively impact the communities in which they live. Throughout the program year, participants engage in enrichment field trips, interactive workshops and community service projects.

Journey Into Womanhood is a program of Empowerment Resources, Inc.
