Mox Box Consulting Presents:

Urbanic III: expanding the microcosm

 Public Reception:

Friday, April 15th: 5 - 9pm

Free and open to the public!

In the past ten years, many American cities have evolved; urban revitalization, gentrification, or the redistribution of population have been at the forefront of redirecting the progress or decay of major urban centers.

Whether it is the loss of population as with Rustbelt cities or the increase of population in the South, flux affects the cultural interior and the physical character of the urban environment. Artists view these shifts and changes in the metropolitan landscape and its surrounding areas. Whether for educational, economic, site-specific, or access to intellectual or artistic communities, the goal for many artists is to gain access to a larger audience and make a livelihood with their art.

In doing so, their world view is developed and notions into the general nature or urban living is redefined.
