The details in the planning, the guides, and routes - everything was so well-planned, fun, exciting and absolutely PERFECTO! Can't wait to get back there again."

Biking Beyond Borders

Starting in 2004, Ciclismo Classico set its sights beyond the country of Italy and so began our expansion into other European countries.  We took everything that made our Italian trips so great and applied them to our arsenal of European destinations.  Not only will you enjoy mouth-watering cuisine and savory wines with every spin of your wheels, but you'll get to meet our incredible guide team - each with a textbook knowledge of the places you'll be visiting!

Not once have we compromised our goal to bring you to the best cycling destinations in the world.  In order to maintain our mission, we opened our operation up to such up-and-coming destinations like Chile & Argentina, Vietnam, and the active travel mecca of New Zealand.  So get away this winter on one of our Warm Weather Winter cycling getaways!

Chile & Argentina - December 26
Discover an unspoiled and often less-visited countryside in the Andes and Chile's Lake Distirct, just north of Patagonia, which you won't find with any other travel company! The area's landscape has been sculpted over millennia by glaciers and volcanoes and has created the backdrop for our riding -tranquil lakes, coastal cities, ancient forests, snow-capped mountains, waterfalls and thermal springs. By bike, you will explore the Andes, cruise across Pirehueico Lake and meet the largest group of indigenous people in the area. You will also have the option to extend your stay on a three-day Santiago and Chilean Vineyard Tour, including a visit to Chile's capital, sommelier lectures and three private winery visits.

Vietnam - December 19
Visit this mystical land where ancient temples, French colonial mansions, vast white sand beaches and mountain hill towns blend together into one harmonious experience. Vietnam's stunning beauty is unlike any on Earth, and the best way to see it is by bicycle! Bustling villages dot the way on this route from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City through lush forests, dramatic mountainscapes, and pristine seashores. Enjoy boat rides, talks with local historians (including an anthropologist, craftsman, historian, and UPI journalist), a visit to a local orphanage, all from the comfort of premier accommodations along the way. Extend your stay with an optional 4-day to prolific Angkor Wat, Cambodia tour.

New Zealand - November 21
Cycling New Zealand's South Island is like soaring through a virtually untouched microcosm of the natural world. The region from Christchurch to Queenstown offers diverse ecosystems from the mountains of the Southern Alps to the shores of the Tasman Sea. It's a mystical land where untamed rivers carve paths through lush rain forests. Lakes and glaciers bask in the shadows of volcanic slopes and snow-capped peaks. Excursions include a trip close to Mt. Cook, a hike to the base of Fox and/or Franz Josef Glacier, jade carving and a sheep farm visit, kayaking through the rainforest, and of course, incredible cycling on some of New Zealand's best roads. Extend your stay with an optional 5-day tour to either Milford or Doubtful Sound.

Let Federica Take You on the Tuscan Fantasy Experience

When describing Federica Luppi, words like "sweet," "thoughtful," "friendly," and "perfect" come to our guests' minds.  She's been known to go above and beyond to ensure our guests have an outstanding experience, especially when you're bringing the whole family along!  John S., from Chicago, IL, agrees: "She took loving care of our kids.  We would not have made it without her - truly special!"

This summer, Federica will be one of our guides leading our popular family trip (and her personal favorite), Tuscan Fantasy.  Her passion for cycling, cheeriness, and yearning to educate others on her home country, has been winning over guests since she started leading tours for us back in 2006.  "Fluppy" as she is affectionately known, was born in Reggio Emilia in northern Italy.  If you get the chance, ask her for her tiramisu recipe - our entire US office staff agrees it's the best!

It's no wonder our Tuscan Fantasy trip is Federica's favorite.  Based out of the idyllic Tuscan villa, Fattoria degli Usignoli, you and your family will experience a fantasy-like experience cycling through picturesque Tuscany and dining on mouth-watering cuisine.  Under the loving care of Federica and our other guides, let the kids find their own adventures while you enjoy some romantic time alone in this truly magical, infamous region.  Isn't it about time you reconnected with your family on a vacation where your memories will last a lifetime?

"The entire trip was an unforgettably positive experience and was clearly made by the level of attention and care taken by all the guides.  They were organized, energetic, and always willing to do whatever it took to make us more comfortable.  They anticipated all our needs, and paid close attention to any that came along the way." - Tracey M.,  Lexington, MA

"Fantastic!  I had such a great experience on this trip and would do it again in an instant.  Out of all the vacations I have been on, this was my favorite."  -Katie S., New York, NY
