Janet has dedicated many hours, working with our community, healing our people, sharing, holding energy for our healing, providing a space for us to gather, to meet, to commune... is it finally time for each of us to learn the songs and commit and bring the healings to others, our families and our friends..
We feel many of you have seen the vision of Janet recording a CD of Songs, Drumming and Ceremony
Those of you who are also directed by Spirit to assist in seeing this happen, email us your thoughts - carry the word forward to find contributions, attend the two fund raisers, bring friends and family... use your inner voice to speak of your healings through the Medicine Drumming.
We will be hosting one of the First Fire Circle Fundraiser on
June 5 in Sylvan Lake

Janet will be performing at The Gathering in early July and if it is so directed may have a CD to bring with her.
The Fire Circles should bring a minimum Donation of $50 which will go directly to the cost of the Recording... you or others you know may have more to give
Will it be possible to gather 30 people to donate $50 each for Two Fire Circles, to add such an amazing tool to your healing box.
We all know the energy of money is challenging in these times, that is why it is so valuable to support and be supported.

Welcome to our May newsletter, with it we send blessings of peace and joy to each one of your hearts.

Sacred grounds where Usui Sensei received Reiki Symbols

Mt. Kurama is a place where you can thoroughly feel nature working around you. The mountain itself is sacred. Meditation can happen in almost every spot and in every location. Mt. Kurama has two waterfalls. Through it, Dr. Mikao Usui had successfully opened his crown chakra and ultimately received the powers of Reiki. There is a shrine just above the waterfalls. Mao son, a deity of the Kurama, is enthroned there. With the water of the falls steadily pouring down, meditation is easy to achieve. The steady rhythm of the falls is conducive to contemplation.
Deep in your meditation, you feel the pulses and the movements around you being one in your thoughts. Up Mt. Kurama are several Buddhist temples. It is said that the mountain is a spot that connects heaven to earth. The entire place is inviting, calming, and quiet, experiencing peace from inside and out. Mt. Kurama is oozing with strong energy from all points. The energy of Mt. Kurama is subtle yet complex, broad yet simple. The different energy patterns and frequencies in the area are the essence of Reiki, and everything else it touches, can truly heal. The trees, stones, and waters of the mountain are interconnected with the same energy that influences them in their natural existence.
Saihoji Temple (Place of Rest for Usui Sensei and Family)
Is in the Suginami district of Tokyo, Sensei was a devout Tendai Buddhist all his life. Only part of Usui Sensei's ashes are at this grave site. The remainder are at the original location of his ashes - a private shrine in Tokyo erected by his closest students which also contains the original copy of the Usui precepts and a photo portrait of Sensei. |

Sensei Inamoto has incorporated the Spiritual teachings of awareness that Nirvana is no longer practical or possible to attain in our present day (extricate self from the cycle of birth and death / Jiriki - humans deeply rooted in karmic evil), instead one should focus on Amida,(Amitabha*) which will gain one enough karmic merit (truly finding altruistic compassion) to go to the Pure Land, where all karma is completed and nirvana is attained. Chanting or repeating mantra "Namu Amida Butsu" to reinforce a proper and sincere state of mind, in an act of gratitude, not one of supplication or trust.
*Amitabha Buddha (one of 5 Dhyani Buddhas - Great Buddhas of Wisdom) Buddha of Infinite Light of the West / Red, Fire, Lotus,Taste, Peacock, Embodies Light, Discriminating wisdom, antidote to malignity 
*The Pure land sutras center on the figure of Amitabha (Amida in Japanese) one of the Five Wisdom Buddhas and his Pure land paradise called Sukhavati. Honen Sonin (a Tendai Monk, as was Senseii Usui) established Pure Land Buddhism as an independent sect in Japan, known as Jodo Shu.

Living in the Heart Our lives are changing at the speed of light! We can all feel it in our soul and in our bones. It's all moving so fast that sometimes it seems like a blur. But our souls are still the same as they were in the beginning, One with Great Spirit. And as this world accelerates, so does our approach to the Light. Love is more than an emotion, it is the beam of energy that guides us Home into the arms of Infinity. And compassion is the nest that protects us from the unknown and our fears.
The Sacred Space in each of our Hearts is the key, my friends. There, beyond the mind and its insistent thoughts that never tire, is a pool of calm clear water that is older than the most distant star. And in this water, just as in Geneses, God moves like the wind over, around and through it. Here we can dream a new world, and the dream will become Reality. This is certain, for how do you think this world began? No matter your desire, the water of this pool within your Heart is no less than the water of your Mother's womb taking you from one world into another. Like a tiny baby bird cracking the shell of its inner world, the outer world will begin anew as sure as the Sun rising over the horizon.
Don't worry. Remember, the whole universe was created by your Cosmic Parents just for you. Only for you. You are loved so dearly. In the Living in the Heart meditation we enter into the essence of the Sacred Space of your Heart to remember the Way of Dreaming.
