The Milwaukee Digital Media Conference is a unique hands-on
collaborative conference. Participants work with instructors from The
Stephens Group to utilize 21st century skills in order to create
relevant real-world products. This year's conference will be held at the Milwaukee Art Museum. Register by October 1st and save money. The standard rate for the conference is $350. The Super Early Registration rate is $199. Stimulus funds can be used to pay for the conference. More information is available at the MDMC Website. |

Our instructors used Dropbox as a way to collaborate and organize files for The Milwaukee Digital Media Conference this year. Dropbox allows you to share files in a digital dropbox with your friends. The service enables users to store and sync files online and between computers. The service provides you with a free 2 GB of space. When you go to Save As on your computer Dropbox is an option for you to save to. Whenever anyone in your group adds a file to the group Dropbox an email is sent out to the group. We found this to be a great way to collaborate, share files, and get organized for the conference. |
