A Message from Bill Wilson, publisher of The Daily Jot--Please read carefully

We are living in extraordinary times. The Middle East is a hotbed. US policies are dovetailing with global economic failure and accelerating the very events that are spoken of in the Bible. In the past few weeks, especially since the Egyptian rebellion and the Japan earthquake, prophetic-type events have escalated to greater levels than in the nine-plus years since I first started writing The Daily Jot. Likewise, there have been hundreds upon hundreds of new subscribers to the Jot during these weeks. A posting on one of Glenn Beck's websites, The Blaze, demonstrated how hungry people are for the truth of the times.

Having said that, I need your help. If you have been reading the Jot for any time, you know that I am not a prosperity preacher, saying send in your money and you will have money. I do not live in a big, fancy house. My rusting pickup truck and car have a combined 260,000 miles on them. You can add another 120,000 miles for the one my son drives to college. I don't own a watch that works, let alone a Rolex. If you are new to the Jot, you will soon know that asking for money is the worst part of this job the Lord has given me, but He keeps on impressing on me, "you have not because you ask not."

So before you hit the delete or the unsubscribe button, please indulge me just a little more. We ran about $1,000 behind in January. I put out a note like this and you responded well in February. Now we are again about $1,000 behind in March. And I am asking again for whatever you think the Lord would have you do to support this fast-growing ministry. I keep hoping that each month, the giving will level out and we will not have to send an appeal, but it seems that the Lord wants us to continue depending on Him and His people to carry this ministry a month at a time. I am fine with that. But it means that from time to time, I will be writing a letter like this to let you know about our need.
