As we all begin to "spring" forward, we wanted to give you an update on some of the things that have kept us busy serving the community these past few months. Families Forward Fundraising Night at The Counter (Irvine & Newport Beach)
Thursday, March 22nd from 4-9pm
The Counter, an AMAZING custom built burger and fries restaurant is hosting a fundraising night (at both Irvine and Newport Beach locations) this Thursday, March 22nd from 4-9pm. They will be donating 20% back to all diners that present this flyer (click here and then print!) when they order (including Happy Hour and alcohol). Please spread the work to your friends and family that live locally. Families Forward staff will be at both locations that night - we look forward to seeing you there! |

$8,080 donation from NHS Athletic Boosters 3rd Annual Timberwolf 5K - February 18th
Many thanks go out to the Northwood High School Athletic Boosters Club for their recent donation of $8,080 to Families Forward from their VERY sucessful 3rd annual NHS Timberwolf 5K event held on February 18, 2012. Over 1,350 people participated in this year's community event. We are honored to be the benefitting non-profit organization for the 3rd year in a row - thank you! |

On March 13th, Families Forward was 1 of 4 participating non-profit organizations at the new Market Place grand opening charity night for Stein Mart.
We were able to sell 197 tickets to this fun event, raising just under $1,000 for Families Forward. Thanks to everyone that came and supported this event! |

Walk United - June 9th at Angel Stadium
Join Families Forward as we support the United Way of Orange County at their 2012 WALK UNITED event on Saturday, June 9th at Angel Stadium from 8am-Noon. Once again this year we are signing up a team for Families Forward to show our agency pride! We have been given the discount price of $10 per registration for all walkers (Standard, Senior, and Youth). What a great deal!
