Thanks, PPL GA team!
The PPL GA team was busy carrying on a winsome witness at the 219th GA in a variety of ways. Many began their work long before GA, helping with planning the events, preparing resources for commissioners, designing flyers and brochures, packing and shipping or driving materials. At GA they spent long hours in the PPL Exhibit Booth, handing out Daily Delivery with a smile, giving testimony in committees, and providing commissioners with resources and information. Others prepared light lunches and snacks to welcome tired team members and commissioners to the PPL Hospitality Suite. Still others recorded news reports late at night and captured the PPL events. Transporting guest speakers, setting-up for events, ushering or setting out materials--all of this activity was done in a spirit of Christian love and grace with just a touch of fun.
I wanted to share with you, PPL's supporters, what a blessing this team is to PPL as they work quietly in the background making it possible for PPL to carry on a pro-life presence and witness at each GA for 30 years.
I would invite you to plan now to be a part of the PPL team at the 220th GA in 2012 to be held in Pittsburgh, PA. I believe you will be blessed to be a part of it! |
