The Board of Directors of Presbyterians Pro-Life met October 8-10 at First Presbyterian Church of Glen Ellyn, Illinois to begin planning for the 219th GA (July 2010) in Minneapolis and to set the organization's budget and strategic plan for the coming year.

November is Adoption Month   
Adoption BookletAs Christians, we want the Scriptures to inform everything we do. The Bible provides both specific examples and general truths relating to adoption. The Scriptures give us the context for the institution of adoption in the world God has created. There are solid scriptural foundations for adoption as a pregnancy choice, as a means of building families, and as a solution for children without two parents. Read more.
What shall we teach adolescents?
Are you concerned about helping children in your congregation find their identity as Christ followers? Do you wonder how to do that in this chaotic, secular, sexualized culture? Did you know that the PC(USA) is writing a new Adolescent Development Curriculum? Do you have concerns about what is included in this curriculum?
 
If your answer is yes, there is a way you can "weigh-in" with the committee that is writing this resource. Go to this link on Facebook. PPL needs your support!
Donations to PPL are very low this year. Like many non-profit organizations we have been negatively affected by the economy. Churches typically provide half of PPL's support and many of those who include PPL in their mission budgets have found it necessary to reduce their mission donations to PPL this year.
