U8-U14 Tryouts for 2010 begin this weekend in Concord
Player tryouts for Diablo FC Under 8 thru Under 14 teams for the 2010-2011 season will be held this weekend, Feb. 13-14, and next, Feb. 20-21, in Concord on all-weather fields at Clayton Valley and Ygnacio Valley high schools. There is no charge to try out and tryouts will be held rain or shine.

Every girl and boy interested in trying out, including current Diablo FC players, must pre-register online.
U15-U19 tryouts will be held in April.
U8-U14 coaching staff announced for 2010-2011 season
Director of Coaching Brian Voltattorni and his coaching directors have announced Under 8 through Under 14 Diablo FC coaching staff assignments for the upcoming 2010-2011 season.
"We are very pleased to unveil our coaching staff, which includes many returning coaches and two newcomers to Diablo FC," Voltattorni said today. He went on to state that the assignments are made pending team tryouts and there may be some minor shifting as the final lineup of teams is ascertained after tryouts.

Diablo FC 96 Blue girls advance to Elite 8 in State Cup
Coach Jeremy Hull's U13 girls, Diablo FC 96 Blue, reached the Elite 8 in CYSA State Cup before they were eliminated by two-time champions Mustang Mavericks, the same team which also dropped Diablo FC 96 out of the Cup. Congratulations to the 96 Blue girls, who also won their NorCal Premier Spring League and GSSL fall league flights this season.

The city of Concord operates its own weather line but our club also uses school sites and Boatwright Sports Complex which aren't covered on the city line. We recommend you only call this new number, which will be updated as needed for all field closures and openings as they relate to Diablo FC training, games, tournaments and tryouts.
