9th annual Winter Soccer Academy begins Monday
 Boys and girls 5-12 years of age are encouraged to sign up for the 9th Diablo FC Winter Soccer Academy which begins this Monday, Jan. 11 at Willow Pass Park in Concord. Sessions are held from 5-6 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays through Feb. 18.
Diablo FC players and their siblings can register for just $50. The fee includes a Soccer Academy T-shirt plus a Diablo FC pin and window sticker. This is a wonderful opportunity for players of all levels to improve their basic soccer skills. Players preparing to try out for the Diablo FC 2010 season will especially benefit from the Academy, which runs right through club tryouts Feb. 13-14 and 20-21.

 Last chance to complete club survey In order to provide the board of directors with input about our program during 2009 we emailed the Diablo FC Membership Survey. The survey will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 8 p.m.
The survey is confidential and we would appreciate a form filled out for each player in the club (the results are being tabulated by team, so if you have more than one player in your family playing in Diablo FC we'd like to get input on each team. If you have more than one player in any of the groupings shown below you weren't able to respond twice through the previous email sent to you. Please use the link here to complete the survey for your other team).
You can include your email address at the end of the survey if you would like someone from the club to respond to any questions or comments you provide. Otherwise, the surveys are automatically tabulated on line and the board only sees the results and comments.

 4 Diablo FC teams kick off Association Cup Saturday
Diablo FC Division 3 teams will be playing this weekend in Association Cup at Morgan Hill, Fremont and Lemoore as 2010 CYSA Cup competition begins.
Diablo FC 95 Juventus boys and Diablo FC 95 Crossfire girls will both be playing their Under 14 games at the Morgan Hill complex.The U13 Diablo FC 96 Fury girls are at Fremont's Central Park for their Association Cup first-round games while Diablo FC 95 Dynamite travel to Lemoore for opening round U14 girls games.
CYSA State Cup for U13 Division 1 teams start Jan. 23-24 weekend. The club has two teams in both boys and girls divisions. |
